Hello Sudipta Ji,

We are sorry to hear about your father’s condition. Recovery after an ischemic stroke can take time and often requires a multidisciplinary approach.

  1. Consult a neurologist or stroke specialist at a reputed hospital. They may re-evaluate his treatment plan and suggest additional therapies.

  2. Stroke patients often require physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to regain movement, balance, and communication skills. Intensive rehabilitation programs can sometimes help improve outcomes.

  3. Focus on his nutrition and hydration and prevent complications like infections, bedsores, or blood clots, which are common in bedridden patients.

We wish him a speedy recovery!
