Tagore Hospital and Heart Care Centre is a premier multi-speciality and super-speciality hospital in North India, serving not only the people of Punjab but also the neighbouring states of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. With a 150-bed capacity, the hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality, cost-effective patient care, built on the principles of ethics and excellence.

Founded in 1979 as "Tagore Hospital Pvt. Ltd.," the hospital initially operated from a small rented building with a 20-bed capacity and offered two specialities: General Medicine and General Surgery. In 1982, it moved to its current location on Mahavir Marg, where it has since expanded and grown.

The hospital has its name registered in the Limca Book of World Records 2000 for using Radial Artery in a Popliteal bypass operation for the first time. Tagore Hospital is also the first Hospital in India to get 'NABH Safe-ITSMCertification'.

The hospital was named after a great individual, to continuously inspire others through his legacy. It's the first hospital to start heart surgery in North India after Delhi Multispecialty Hospital with CGHS recognition.
