Joshi Hospital and Trauma Center was established in 1991 on Kapurthala Road in Jalandhar, opposite Sports College. Dr Mukesh Joshi and Dr Neelam Joshi dedicated themselves fully to the hospital's mission, earning a reputation for excellence in orthopaedic care.

Initially a 15-bed facility with one operating room, the hospital provided treatment for a wide range of elective and emergency orthopaedic cases. As the hospital gained recognition, patients seeking expert care for complex trauma turned to Dr. Joshi. However, the growing demand led to space constraints, prompting the hospital's relocation to a larger facility in 2005.
