About Hospital
The Gujarat Research and Medical Institute (Rajasthan Hospitals) is a charitable trust founded in 1982 with a vision to provide the utmost level of healthcare to the commoner at the most affordable cost in and around the city of Ahmedabad, and more so in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The Gujarat Research and Medical Institute also dedicates its advanced facilities and expertise to research and development, making further inroads in health and medicine.
The hospital runs educational institutions to impart knowledge and training in nursing, physiotherapy, paramedical sciences, and radiological techniques to build an efficient workforce of healthcare professionals who can adequately handle the global requirements of medical and surgical emergencies.
The journey started on November 15, 1984, with basic general healthcare facilities, including outpatient consultation and 50 indoor patient beds. The hospitals comprise Two hundred fifty beds and are multidiscipline, super speciality tertiary health care centres assisting all medical science disciplines, including alternative sciences, under one roof, without distinction in caste, creed or religion.
The Institution continually strives to upgrade its human resources, technology, and quality processes. Super speciality treatments are provided at rates affordable to the common man, with special assistance to the poor and needy patients. They charge nominal fees of Rs.100 for outdoor patient consultations. Free and concessional camps for diagnosis and treatment of various ailments are continuously held at various places throughout India.
