Doctor Pratyush Ranjan has contributed to handling numerous complex medical cases in several hospitals. He is known for his attention to accurate diagnosis and treating patients empathetically. The speciality interests of Dr Pratyush Ranjan are cataract, general ophthalmology, retinopathy, refractive surgery, phacoemulsification and glaucoma.

Dr Ranjan has experience of 55000+ Cataract, Refractive 2500+, Glaucoma 2500+, 3000+ Retinal lasers & Injections and 1500+ Oculoplasty surgeries. He has developed a new surgical technique to perform cataract surgery; Ranjan’s Modified Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgery (R-MSICS), Cartwheel Chop for Phacoemulsification Cataract Surgery and combined glaucoma and cataract surgeries (The Infinity Incision). 

Dr Pratyush Ranjan did his MBBS and Diploma in Ophthalmology. He also completed his DNB in Ophthalmology. He has also participated in research work and various workshops under the Ophthalmology department and published many papers.

He runs an NGO, The Asoka Foundation to promote eye health and eradicate preventable blindness in the society.
