Dr Subhash P Kadam is a well known Ophthalmologist. He has 60 years of experience.

He did his MBBS in 1964  from Baroda Medical College, DOMS in 1967 from Bombay University and MS in 1968 from Bombay University

He is a Founder of Dr Kadam’s Eye Hospital and Institute, Acquired training in Intra Ocular Lens (IOL) implantation in US and Japan in 1982 and 1984.

The first to implant the IOL in Vadodara City.Amongst the pioneer Phaco surgeons in the city since 1993.Devised the ‘Crush Technique’ in Phaco Surgery which facilitates phaco surgery to be done with very low phaco power and safely even in very difficult cases.Devised the ‘Lollipop technique’ for Soft Cataracts.

Performed Live phaco surgery at various conferences at national and international levels.Organized Live surgical Workshops at various specialities at Dr.Kadam’s Eye Hospital and Institute.

An expert at Oculoplastic procedures like Strabismus, Lid Surgery and DCR.Devised the ‘U-turn’ technique for pterygium surgery which prevents recurrence and gives good cosmetic results.Devised the ‘Open Door Technique’ for Combined Phaco with Glaucoma Surgery.
