Dr. Bikash Sahu

Dr Bikash Sahu is a well-known Anaesthesiologist currently associated with Aster Ramesh Hospital, Nagarampalem. He leads the Cardiac Anesthesia team and also heads the Department of Anesthesia. He has 25 years of experience in Anaesthesiology and has worked as an expert in different cities of India. He has worked in many reputed hospitals like Fortis Hospital, Mohali.

Doctor Bikash has contributed to handling over 10,000 complex medical cases in several hospitals. He is known for his attention to accurate diagnosis and for treating patients with empathy. He also completed his DM in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anaesthesia from AIIMS, Delhi in 2008 and a Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia from Aster Ramesh Hospital and in Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation by the Simulation Society and at The Alfred, Melbourne, Australia. He even pursued Post Doctoral Certificate Course in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Anaesthesia from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute in 2005.

He has also participated in research work, and various workshops under the Anaesthesiology department, and published many papers. Doctor Sahu has also received many awards in his field like International Judges Award in 2022.
