Dr. Ashok Bhattar

Dr Ashok Bhattar is a well-known Director and Pediatrician at Bhattar Hospital and Balgopal Children Hospital, Raipur (C.G.) since 1993.

He participates in various social activities for women and child welfare, regular talks in Doordarshan and All India Radio regarding childhood illnesses and care.

He also gives training regarding common childhood illnesses and neonatal care in state training department of Women and Child Welfare, government of Chhattisgarh.

He did his MBBS from University of Jabalpur (M.P.), India and MD (Gold Medalist) – University of Jabalpur (M.P.), India.

He is known for attention to accurate diagnosis and for treating patients with empathy.

He Awarded “Sir James Flett Gold Medal” in 1989 in National conference of IAP held at Agra(U.P.) and also Awarded “Katni Gold Medal” for best work done in the field of women and child development in the year 1992 in state conference of IAP held at Pachmarhi (M.P.)

He has also participated in research work, various workshops under the Paediatric department and published many papers. Doctor Ashok Bhattar  has also received an award in the field of Paediatric.
