Dr. Himesh Gandhi

Dr Himesh Gandhi is a distinguished Urologist and Director of Robotic Surgery at Ruby Hall Clinic, and Healing Hands Clinic, Pune with an extensive 18-year career in Urology.

A trailblazer in robotic uro-oncology, he performed Pune’s first-ever successful robotic radical prostatectomy and has since been leading the robotic surgery program at Ruby Hall Clinic.

Since establishing the department in 2017, he has performed over 500 robotic surgeries, specializing in prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer treatments, along with complex reconstructive procedures.

• Fellowship In Minimally Invasive and Urologic Surgery from Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore in 2017

His pioneering work extends to robotic kidney transplantation, which was introduced in Pune for the first time under his leadership at Ruby Hall Clinic.

He also brought India’s first and Asia’s second Modulith FLX-2 Connect Urological Workstation, revolutionizing stone management solutions. Additionally, he has demonstrated vast expertise in Thulium Laser Prostatectomies.

Dr Gandhi, an uro-onco surgeon, has actively contributed to research and workshops, co-authoring notable publications like Automated Needle Targeting with X-ray (ANT-X) – a robot-assisted device for percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), marking a milestone in minimally invasive kidney stone removal.

A year prior, in 2014, Dr Himesh Gandhi, a kidney transplant doctor, represented India at the Urology Resident Course in Singapore through an international travelling fellowship awarded by the Urological Society of India (USI).
