Doctor Adkar has over 8000 successful joint replacement surgeries to his credit. He is hailed as a pioneer who brought in Western India’s first state-of-the-art fully automated robotic system for joint replacement.

The speciality interests of Dr Neeraj Adkar are Fracture Fixation, Knee Replacement Treatment, Hip Replacement, Complex Trauma, Arthroplasty Hand Surgery and Arthroscopy. He is also an active member of the American Association of hip and knee surgeons (AAHKS) and the Indian Medical Association (IMA).

He has performed India’s first uncemented bilateral total knee replacement and Maharashtra’s first Condranet Graft Net technique for cartilage repair among other feats and Successfully operated 99-year-old lady for Hip Replacement in India.

Dr Neeraj Adkar did his graduation with MBBS from Dr. Vasant Rao Pawar Medical College, Nashik in 1996 and Post graduation with Diploma in Orthopaedics from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum in 2000.

He also completed his DNB in Orthopaedics from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College2003He has also participated in research work and various workshops under the Orthopaedics department and published many papers.

Doctor Neeraj is recently awarded the best Robotic Joint Replacement surgeon award by the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra Mr.Bhagat Singh Kothari and in the presence of Health Minister Mr.Rajesh Tope at Rajbhavan and received an award from Pune Mirror for being the Pioneering Robotic Joint Replacement Surgeon.
