Dr. Anupama Mane

Dr Anupama Mane is a highly respected Breast Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist, currently practising as a Consultant at Ruby Hall Clinic, Medicover Hospitals KLE, and Sahyadri Super Speciality Hospital, Deccan Gymkhana, Pune. With 32 years of expertise, she is also a Director of the Breast Care NAG Foundation. 

Over the years, she has managed complex oncological cases at renowned hospitals like Deccan Clinic and Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, earning a reputation for her surgical excellence.

A true pioneer, she is Pune’s first female Breast Surgeon and among the earliest in India to establish breast surgery as a distinct subspecialty.

Doctor Anupama Mane has contributed to handling numerous complex medical cases in several hospitals including Deccan Clinic and Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.

Upon graduating with an MBBS from Government Medical College, Miraj in 1993, Dr Mane furthered her education by completing:

• Fellowship in Breast Surgery from Interdisciplinary Breast Center, Duesseldorf, Germany in 2006
• Training in Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgery from Royal Derby Hospital, UK

Her work includes 52 oral and poster presentations at national and international conferences and 11 scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Anupama Mane, a breast doctor in Pune, has also contributed as a Principal and Co-Investigator in multiple national and international breast cancer trials. A dedicated mentor, she teaches in the Breast Fellowship Program at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
