He has completed his MBBS and MD (Paediatrics) from JJM Medical College, Davanagere, Karnataka and has done his DNB (Paediatrics) from KEM Hospital, Mumbai, Maharastra. He has been trained in Paediatric Allergy & Asthma from CMC Vellore in collaboration with International Asthma Services, Colorado, USA and completed Diploma in Allergy and Asthma (DAA) in 2010 which is recognized by American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI).

He has been honoured as Life member of National Academy of Medical Sciences, Delhi (MNAMS). He is proficient in wide range of paediatric and neonatal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and involved in management of complex paediatric and neonatal ailments.

He has rich academic knowledge and experience in training paediatric undergraduate and post-graduate students for more than 10 years and has been examiner to various universities for paediatrics and also guided many post graduates in Paediatrics in accomplishment of their master degrees.
