Dr. Indira Hinduja

Dr Indira Hinduja is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecologist, a Padma Shri awardee from Government of India with a rich experience of 57 years and is currently working at Jaslok Hospital And Research Centre and P D Hinduja National Hospital And Medical Research Centre.

She is the pioneer of In-vitro Fertilization and is credited for the delivery of India’s first scientifically documented test-tube baby (1986), the first GIFT baby (1988), and the first egg-donation baby (1990).

She has awarded with Young Indian Award (1987), Outstanding Lady Citizen of Maharashtra State Jaycee Award (1987), and Bharat Nirman Award for Talented Ladies (1994).
