Further, he completed his FIMSA from Delhi in 2019 and also pursued the AO Trauma Course at various levels—Basic, Advanced, and Master.

In 2018, he undertook a specialized Clinical Fellowship in Complex Primary and Revision Total Knee Replacement at Kantonsspital Baselland Bruderholz in Basel, Switzerland, under the guidance of Prof. Michael T. Hirschmann, the Professor and Head of the Knee Unit. Additionally, he participated in the Revision Knee Bioskills Workshop at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.

His education continued with an IMRI Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty in Adelaide, Australia, under the mentorship of Prof. Jegan Krishnan in 2019. Additionally, he completed the ISKSAA Travelling Aberdeen Fellowship under Prof. Kapil Kumar at Woodend Hospital and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary from September to October 2019.

• "Total Knee Arthroplasty" at Military Hospital Secunderabad

• "Bone Conserving Arthroplasty" at The National Ortho Update at Military Hospital Kirkee

His dissertation, "A Clinical Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Operative Profile of Patients with Prolapsed Intervertebral Discs," demonstrated a correlation of 88.6% between MRI and surgical findings. He co-authored the study on "Management of Femoral Head Fractures Associated with Posterior Dislocation of Hip," which was presented as a poster at IOACON 2009 in Bangalore.

Dr Prabhakar received several prestigious awards during his career, including the Dr Balu Sankaran Gold Medal in Orthopaedics in December 2002. His excellence in the field has earned him recognition both nationally and internationally.
