He has been Prinicipal Investigator for more than 20 clinical trials and is a founder member of ' Science and Cost ' association which works on solutions to improve access to cancer care in India using scientific strategies.

He has received the prestigious Prof GS Bhattacharya award for Best all rounder oncologist in India in the year 2021, from Indian Cooperative Oncology Network (ICON).
