Dr. Gururaj Sangondimath

Dr Gururaj Sangondimath is working as a Senior Consultant and Unit Head spine surgery at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre. He has 19 years of experience and worked as an expert in different cities of India.

He has contributed to handling numerous complex medical cases in several hospitals. He is known for attention to accurate diagnosis and for treating patients empathetically. His areas of expertise include spine surgery and many other complex procedures.

Dr Sangondimath did his MS in Orthopaedics from St Johns Medical College Hospital, Bengaluru in 2008. He also completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery from Munich, Germany and a Fellowship in Cervical Spine Surgery and Deformity from Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan. 

He has participated in research work and various workshops under the same and published many papers. He is an active member of the Association of Spine Surgeons of India (ASSI) and the Spinal Cord Society (SCC).
