Dr. Tarlochan Singh Kler

Dr Tarlochan Singh Kler is a renowned Cardiologist currently working as a chairman at Fortis Flt Lt Rajan Dhall Hospital, Vasant Kunj and Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram.

He has 47 years of experience and worked as an expert in different cities of India. He has worked as a chairman at PSRI Hospital and as an Executive Director at Escorts Heart Institute.

He has performed more than 25,000 coronary, renal, carotid and peripheral angioplasties. He established the first dedicated Electrophysiology department in India at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute.

He received the prestigious Padma Bhushan from the Government of India in 2005. He was also awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indian Medical Association and Times Health Care Achievers Awards in 2017 in the "Legends of Medicine” category

Dr Kler did his MD in General Medicine from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh in 1980. He also completed his DM in Cardiology from the PGIMER, Chandigarh in 1983 and a Fellowship in Electrophysiology and Pacing from St Luke Medical Centre in 1993.

He has participated in research work and various workshops under the Cardiology department and published many papers. He is an active member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), the Association of Physicians of India (API), etc.
