What is a Third Degree Heart Block?

The heartbeat is regulated by electrical signals generated from its walls (at the Sinoatrial or SA node). This node guides the cardiac muscles about contraction. The signals travel from the atria (upper heart chamber) to the ventricles (lower heart chamber).
