Dr. Shankar Balakrishnan is a well-known Neurologist currently associated with Rela Hospital, Chennai. He has 19 years of experience in Neurology and worked as an expert in different cities of India. He has worked in many reputed hospitals like MIOT International Hospitals, Chennai.

He also completed his DM in Neurology from Madras Medical College, Chennai in 2015 and a  Fellowship in Intervention Neuroradiology from University of Zurich, Switzerland in 2018.

He has also participated in research work, and various workshops under the Neurology department, and published many papers. Doctor Balakrishnan has also received many awards in his field like Prof. CUV Gold Medal for “All rounder Best Outgoing of The Year” in DM in Neurology in 2015 and Most Admired and Innovative Neurologist of the year 2022 by Iconic Healthcare Summit and Awards in 2022.
