Dr. Radhika Venugopalis a well-known Hepatologist currently associated with Rela Hospital, Chennai. She has 24 years of experience in Hepatology, Liver Disease & Transplantation and has worked as an expert in different cities of India. She has worked in many reputed hospitals like Madras Medical College and Hospital, Chennai.

Doctor Radhika has contributed to handling many complex medical cases in several hospitals. She is known for her attention to accurate diagnosis and for treating patients with empathy.

She is an active member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), the Indian Association of Paediatrics (IAP) and the Indian association of Study of Liver Disease (INASL).

Dr. Venugopalis did her MBBS from Coimbatore Medical College, Coimbatore in 2000. She then did her MD in Paediatric Medicine from Institute of Child health and hospital for Children, Madras Medical College, Chennai in 2007. She also completed her DM in  Hepatology from Madras Medical College, Chennai in 2018 and a Fellowship in Transplant Hepatology from Rela Hospital, Chennai in 2020.

She has also participated in research work, and various workshops under the hepatology department, and published many papers. Doctor Venugopalis has also received many awards in her field like Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University Medal for securing highest marks in DM Hepatology for the year 2018 and Dr K.A. Krishnamoorthy Award for presenting a scientific paper titled ‘Reference standards for Body Mass Index in Adolescent Girls in Chennai.’ in PEDICON in 2006.
