Dr. Sujata Das

Dr Sujata Das is a well-known Ophthalmologist currently associated with L V Prasad Eye Hospital, Patia Road. She has 10 years of experience in Ophthalmology and has worked as an expert in different cities of India. She has worked in many reputed hospitals.

Doctor Sujata has contributed to handling many complex medical cases in several hospitals. She is known for her attention to accurate diagnosis and for treating patients with empathy. She has served as a faculty member for the evaluation of subspecialty education program in Cornea.

She completed her subspecialty training in ‘Cornea and Anterior Segment’ from LVPEI, Hyderabad. She also completed her International Council of Ophthalmology Fellowship in ‘Cornea’ at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany, and Clinical Fellowship in ‘Cornea’ at the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital and CERA, Melbourne University, Australia.

She has also participated in research work, and various workshops under the Ophthalmology department, and published many papers. Doctor Das has also received many awards in her field like B K Narayan Rao Oration Award and K R Dutta Award from All India Ophthalmological Society and Prof Biswambhar Rajguru Oration Award from Odisha State Ophthalmological Society.
