Dr Sunil Kumar S R did his MBBS from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Bangalore in 2009, MS General Surgery from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore in 2014, Integrated Training in Cleft Lip & Palate Surgery from KLE, Belgaum in 2019 and also completed MCh Plastic Surgery from MS Ramaiah Medical College in 2021 and Fellowship Program on Aesthetic Surgery from Instituto de Benito, Medical Group, Barcelona, Spain in 2022.

To further refine his expertise, Dr. Sunil completed an observership in Plastic Surgery, Hand & Reconstructive Microsurgery, and Burns at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. He also participated in a week-long hands-on Microvascular Surgery course at the Ganga Microsurgical Training Institute, which added to his extensive surgical proficiency.

He has been recognized for his contributions to the medical field with several accolades, including the Best Paper Award from the Bangalore Surgical Society for his work on '48hrs Antibiotic Prophylaxis in Surgical Cases.' Additionally, he was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation for his dedicated service in caring for COVID-19 patients during the pandemic of 2020-21.  Dr Sunil Kumar is multilingual, proficient in English, Kannada, and Hindi, allowing him to effectively communicate and provide personalised care to a diverse patient base.
